As part of their continuing effort to provide guidance to the apparel and textiles industry, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has posted a new test manual to their website entitled Laboratory Test Manual for 16 CFR Parts 1615 and 1616: Standards for the Flammability of Children’s Sleepwear, July 2010. The purpose of the manual is to aid the industry with the appropriate procedure for testing children's sleepwear as per the Standards for the Flammability of Children’s Sleepwear codified as 16 CFR Parts 1615 and 1616.
